Facilities Manager - Class A - International Locations

The successful candidate will be responsible for operations and maintenance on a mid-sized building overseas. The site is a Class A, mixed-use office/retail space with underground parking and exterior custom-designed landscaping features. Successful candidates will have substantive experience in all facets of HVAC, power, plumbing, life-safety and security systems. The FM should be proficient in all core practical trades and should have expertise in at least one applicable skillset. Knowledge of, or certification with, multiple manufacturers’ systems is a plus.

Core system knowledge, skills and abilities include (but are not limited to): Air-cooled chillers; Gas-fired boilers; Energy recovery units; Underfloor air movement; Fans-Pressurization; General exhaust and garage ventilators; Wet/Dry sprinklers; Generators, transformers, and panels; Sewage, plumbing, human, and mechanical water circulation requirements; Building control/safety systems and hardware.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience and comfort working with foreign nationals, navigating cultural differences, and using translation are helpful
• Prior experience managing staff, vendors, and tenants beneficial
• Comfortable working in dynamic, fluid environments and can prioritize changing requirements
• Multi-lingual and international work experience are positive differentiators
• Should be willing to travel internationally and have the ability to accept short-term relocation
• Experience working in high-rise, multi-use buildings in major metropolitan areas or large footprint industrial facilities
• Ability to work under stress in evolving/ambiguous situations
• Familiarity with architectural drawings/CAD, engineering specs, project management software and budgeting programs is a plus
