Fabrication Manager Jobs

FNA Group is a world class manufacturer of pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment. We are currently seeking a Fabrication Manager to join our team. In this role you will oversee the Fabrication department to ensure production levels remain at peak levels and policies and procedures are followed. Duties and Responsibilities: Increases production, assets capacity and flexibility, while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards. Allocates and utilizes resources effectively to produce optimal results. Collects and analyzes data to find places of waste or overtime. Performs inspections of product throughout production cycle. Maintains and modifies PLC-based automated conveyor systems, HMI's and drive systems. Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company. Determines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of production operations and continually assesses the results. Maintains an open dialogue with other engineers and managers to coordinate activities, resolve problems and improve performance/productivity. Other duties as may be assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of automation technology, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and/or manufacturing processes. Practiced with metal fabrication, including laser nesting, CNC press brake, welding, bending and punching. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; experienced in handling several projects simultaneously. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives. Solid understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business management principles. Previous experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment or Power Tools industry is a plus. Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred, or equivalent amount of experience and education. 5 years of experience in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering environment. 2+ years of supervisory experience.
