Job Description

Are you someone with a nose for news and 10 years+ of policy communications experience? We're hiring a director for external relations to help drive media coverage, and ensure the power and perspectives of Americans aged 50+ become part of national narratives. AARP has a wonderful team of experienced strategic communicators from around Washington, DC who are passionate about improving health care, economic security and who also covet work-life balance. Management experience is a plus.
