The Montreal Beach Resort has recently been acquired by Madison Resorts, with plans to offer a complete renovation to this already beautiful property.

Summary:

The role of the Breakfast Cook is to prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast items as instructed and in accordance with department standards. This role takes the lead in the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide food input related to specials.
  • Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
  • Prepare food served at banquets and other events.
  • Prepare food in a quality and timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of walk-in refrigeration and storage areas.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • To have knowledge of all kitchen workstations.
  • Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
  • Set up workstation in a timely manner and in a way that maximizes efficient service.
  • Maintain rotation of food in walk-in refrigeration and storage areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of stations including all reach-in boxes and kitchen in general.
  • Assumes the lead role of the kitchen during the breakfast shift when the Sous Chef and Executive Chef are not present.
  • Assist with prep work.
Requirements:
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • At least 1 year of breakfast cooking experience in a restaurant.
