Exercise Specialist

Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm; M-F

The employee will hold the position of Exercise Specialist/Personal Trainer within the Wellness department. Responsibilities include teaching classes within the exercise science specialty, group exercise leadership, individual coaching, and workout design development. Collects data from clients, health screens and questionnaires. Reviews participant’s goals and makes necessary adjustments to ensure success. Assists Weight Management for Life, Fitness for Life, and additional Wellness educational classes. Reports to the Assistant Director and the Senior Director of Rehab Services.
Education and Certifications preferred bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. BLS certification through AHA required and is ACLS desirable.
