Job Description
Summary: The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for directing and administering all Housekeeping operations to ensure the overall cleanliness and product quality of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.


Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.


  • Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures.
  • Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Assist Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to housekeeping.
  • Work quickly and efficiently while not compromising quality and integrity.
  • Complete all monthly inventories.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department head.
  • Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard.
  • Provide the highest quality guest service to the guest and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
  • Perform other additional projects as they arise to keep the hotel clean and guest completely satisfied.
  • Recommend recruitment of new personnel.
  • Prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget.
  • Prepare reports for management information.
  • Per our culture, you should provide a level of Platinum Service to each and every guest.
  • Organize inventories for linen, uniform and fixed assets.
  • Verification of supplies consignments.
  • Work toward continuous quality improvement
  • Attend and resolve guest requests and complaints.
  • Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform.
  • Handle reasonable guest's requests or complaints with professionalism while solving any issues as they arise.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire hotel.
  • Participate in Daily Huddle.

Education/Experience


  • Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).


Language Skills


  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.


Mathematical Skills


  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability


  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
