Executive Director, Vilar Performing Arts Center

This is a leadership position that provides strategic vision and operational know-how to the finance and accounting function and embraces an entrepreneurial spirit within an admired and evolving place-based organization. The organization serves those who work, live, and visit the Vail Valley through programming in the arts, athletics, education and select community-wide needs. In addition to serving as a key member of the VVF’s Executive Team, the Executive Director leads a staff of approximately 12-full time, year-round employees directing all aspects of operations, programming, marketing, and fundraising, and overall vision of the performing arts center.

The Vilar Performing Arts Center hosts approximately 50 performances during the winter season, 17 performances during the summer season plus an additional 40 community, education, and venue rental events per year. VPAC is a consistently successful performing arts venue financially but most importantly, in terms of the broad array of performing arts it offers to locals and international guests.The VPAC Executive Director is a critical position within the Vail Valley Foundation and reports directly to the President & CEO. The Executive Director works closely with the VPAC Committee Chair, Committee Members, community stakeholders and donors.
