Job Description
Mountain Parks Electric is a distribution cooperative seeking an individual for the Executive Assistant/ Records Administrator position in our Granby, Colorado location. Mountain Parks Electric has 65 employees, approximately 1,800 miles of line, and serves approximately 22,000 meters. MPEI is headquartered in Granby, Colorado located at an elevation of 7,935 feet, 90 miles from Denver International Airport and 25 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Experience gold-medal fishing in the Colorado and Fraser Rivers or take a boat out on Lake Granby, the second largest body of water in Colorado. Granby is near Shadow Mountain and Grand Lake and offers spectacular scenery, miles of hiking trails connecting Granby to Fraser, Colorado, downhill skiing, mountain bike trail systems, and down-hill bike park and cross-country trails at nearby resorts. The Executive Assistant/Records Administrator provides efficient, accurate and confidential administrative support to the CEO and the Board of Directors. Working with the CEO and management team, the Executive Assistant/Records Administrator will be responsible for developing, implementing, training, and administering of Mountain Parks Electric's Records Management Procedures. This position deals with sensitive matters important to the overall operation of Mountain Parks Electric and must maintain strict confidentiality when required. Qualifications include associate degree relating to business, office administration, records, or closely related field. At least three years of experience in a relevant administrative field; records management training with two (2) years of experience in filing systems, records retention schedules, and records management information systems; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience supporting Executive level staff/Board of Directors required. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. This position will remain open until filled.
