In this role, you will support the VP of Manufacturing & Logistics Tires with executive administrative duties. You must have the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. As part of your responsibilities, you will schedule resources such as people, complex meetings, appointments, rooms, and equipment. You will have the opportunity to work with a high level of confidentiality and work with other assistants globally within Continental to coordinate meetings and events.
  • Prepare, compose, and edit complex memos, and other correspondence
  • Complete and Reconcile expense reports
  • Provide supporting responsibilities to the team of Executives reporting to the VP
  • Follow up on delegated tasks of direct reports and check/meet deadlines of business progress
  • Manage complex and global meetings; prepare agenda, write minutes, do follow up
  • Complete PO requisitions for payment of invoices, etc. for the department
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Prepare high level, and complex presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents
  • Maintain database information
  • Assist in organizing company social events (e.g. team building, annual party, government and executive activities)

Qualifications
BASIC:
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, ability to work with large information/data to make it visually pleasing
  • Self-starter, proactive, independent worker
  • Ability to work and communicate with C-Suite/Executive level employees
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with international time zones and multi-cultural teams
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity, but may be open to a sign on bonus if needed
  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience
PREFERRED:
  • 7+ years as an executive assistant supporting an executive level role
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • International team experience
