Job Description

Do you have a love for the event industry? Are you creative and have a talent for bringing things to life? So do we and we want to work with you!!

Since 1983, Powerstation Events has been Connecticut’s leader in DJs, entertainment, event services and event production. We have assembled a synergetic collection of services lead by talented professionals who take great pride in each and every event we do and every service we provide. A huge key to our success are the people that make it all happen. We are looking to add to our team for the incredible return of events this year. The very nature of our business is fun and exciting and we are looking for individuals will bring that same energy and professionalism to the various positions we have available.

Sound good so far? Here is a list of positions that are currently available:

- Crew tech

- Lighting designer/tech

- Lighting Director

- Audio tech

- Video tech

- Videographer and video editor

- Photographers

- Design and décor warehouse and field support

- Floral designer for in-shop and field support

- Photo booth operators

- DJs

While each department and position carry their own list of duties, responsibilities and requirements, there are a list of attributes that we seek across the board.

What you’ll need:

· Professional, courteous and personable manner

· Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail

· Reliable, trust worthy and punctual

· Reliable transportation and valid drivers license

· Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a very fast-paced, high volume work environment

· Must be able to work with a team as well as be self-motivated

· Experience working in the event industry is preferred

· A desire to learn and expand your creative talents

· A strong passion to learn and grow in the event industry
