Event Security Jobs

The Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel is seeking an individual to work security for the hotel and convention center during evening events. This is a very part-time position. The purpose of this position is to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, staff and property during busy event nights. $150 bonus after 90-days!

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with late night minor maintenance issues
• Complete foot patrols inside hotel and convention center and outside perimeters of the buildings
• Be observant and report all suspicious activities
• Check and secure all internal and external doors
• Handle guest and staff concerns effectively in a timely manner with professionalism

Job Requirements:

• Ability to use office equipment and a good working knowledge of computers
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain a pleasant personality and have excellent customer-service skills
• Good judgement and decision making skills
• Ability to respond to issues and resolve conflicts in a professional manner
• Must be able to work overnight and on weekends
• Ability to speak and understand English well
