Job Description

Must Haves:

  • Sharepoint experience
  • Experience coordinating and managing both virtual and in-person events for a large organization
  • Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized
  • Proactive!
  • Project/Program Management experience


Plusses:

  • Intermediate experience with Sharepoint (updating content, writing content, creating events and adding it to the sharepoint site)
  • Exposure and/or knowledge of Product Management Principles
  • Ideally candidates will be local to Atlanta as in-person events are held at the headquarters. Having a local consultant that can prep the HQ prior to events would be very helpful. (otherwise, this role is fully remote)



Day-to-Day:

  • Majority of events will be virtual however there will be in-person events as well (Experience coordinating and managing both virtual and in-person events for a large organization is needed)
  • Holding internal employees and/or teams accountable for attendance.
  • This role is supporting Community Engagement within the Product Management organization of Home Depot.
  • Managing all of the major and minor details surrounding events.
  • This organization continues to scale their agile coach program, the internal events are crucial in ensuring that information is disseminated and that the organization remains unified during the transforamtion.
  • This indiviual will be responsible for the following:
  • Collaborating with internal committees to determine peer learning opportunities, securing key note speakers, etc.
  • Having general knowledge of Product Management will be helpful for this role (though not required)
  • Driving attendance for these events.
  • Scheduling events for peer learning, virtual meet ups, chat rooms, etc.
