Job Description

The Hamilton Club seeks new talent for the Events Manager position. Our entire team engages the membership with a service-minded, above and beyond approach. Optimal candidates are punctual, creative, and conscientious with excellent relationship skills. This role will support the execution and delivery of new/existing events and programs – including Club Functions and events of all types.

Responsibilities:

  • A willingness to always go above and beyond by accounting for special requests from our members and guests, i.e. gluten-free, allergy considerations, vegetarian/vegan options, etc…)
  • Maintain a clean, organized person and workspace; well presented.
  • Creating, managing, and communicating the Club’s roster of events.
  • Be a contributing member of The Hamilton Club management staff, supervising events and supporting a la carte restaurants Tuesday through Saturday.


Requirements

  • Be a clear communicator with Members, Managers, Kitchen, and Dining room personnel.
  • Ability to use Microsoft suite of applications as well as other event and CRM applications.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle with valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions.
  • 2+ years of hospitality experience in the preparation and delivery of events. Strong preference, but not required, for upscale dining venue experience.
  • Willingness and ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check in accordance with State and Federal regulations.


Full-time, with health and other benefits; Compensation is paid by salary (DOE)

  • The Hamilton Club is closed on Sundays, January 2nd, Easter Monday, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Christmas Day.
