Purpose

To be passionate about hospitality and providing the highest quality of customer service to our guests. To assist in setting up and breaking down food & beverage duties at outdoor and private dining events. To maintain the highest service of standard in compliance with The Resort at Paws Up’s policies.

This position starts at $18 an hour and goes up from there depending on experience.

Primary Functions And Responsibilities

• Receives the linen supply and keeps it organized and keeps track of inventory
• Washes and keeps the event/catering vehicles well maintained and cleaned
• Ensuring that all event spaces are well stocked with the proper items
• Helps departments with heavy lifting
• Assist in transporting beverages and food items to all events
• Assist in keeping all lobby areas clean, neat, and free of debris
• Cleans all event spaces
• Keeps the land clean at all times
• Transport clean linen to all food & beverage events when needed
• Sweeps, mops, polishes floors
• Keeps all furniture organized and well maintain

Supportive Functions and Responsibilites

• Always maintain a clean and neat appearance
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Resort team members to foster and promote a positive working enviroment
• Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests and team members always, take pride in representing The Resort at Paws Up professionally with our guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner
• Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner

Educational, Experience, Licensure Required

• Knowledge of world class hospitality and service
• Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
• Ability to lift items over 60 pounds with small effort
• Minimum 6 months of experience in food & beverage, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting
• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
• Valid Food Handler’s License
• Has a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands and with guest, team members, and management
• Valid State Driver’s License
