JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
We are a busy and growing dermatology practice, offering medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology services, looking for a motivated and positive Licensed Aesthetician looking for a long-term role in a stable and professional environment. This is a job opportunity to provide facial skincare treatments in a medical spa setting
In this role we are looking for someone to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.
Essential Functions
- Provides the following treatment to patients; Facials, Microderabrasion, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Hydrafacial,
- Performs, explains, and schedules select cosmetic consults and treatments per protocols
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ensures the patient is satisfied with elective skin care services and products recommended
- Provide appropriate patient education and aftercare instructions
- Escorts patients to exam room and out to front desk after exam
- Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line as it relates to estheticians
- Reviews paperwork thoroughly prior to procedure to ensure current medical history, physical exam, current medication history, and other required elements are present.
- Performs treatments per company policy and procedure
- Recognizes the need to elevate care to PA/NP and/or Physician for resolution.
- Demonstrates knowledge of standard precautions, hand hygiene, transmission-based precautions, and personal protective equipment.
- Establishes and maintains a secure knowledge and understanding of all policies, procedures, and associated forms.
- Assumes responsibility for the successful completion of initial and annual training requirements.
- Attends and participates in scheduled clinic and corporate meetings including staff education, in-services, and clinic staff meetings.
- Maintain a professional and clean work environment & appearance

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This role requires the employee to frequently stand, walk, push/pull, and perform some light lifting.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a 3 day position. Standard days and hours of work Monday-Friday 8a-430p.
Required Education and Experience
- Expertise in skin care and product knowledge
- 1+ years' Experience in aesthetic field
- Consult with clients and work side by side with Dermatologists to select and preform appropriate treatments.
- Executes and ensures strict HIPAA protocol
- Must comply with local and state licensing laws and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
- Strong team player
- Professional manner, discretion and appearance, dependable and punctual
