Equipment Operator Jobs

An Equipment Operator will operate various heavy machinery for construction projects. Responsibilities: Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment , including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors. Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation. Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches. Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites. Uses equipment to prepare job site. Operates machinery used to build roads and bridges. Perform daily inspection of equipment. Performs routine maintenance and repairs. Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times . Follow directions and instructions from supervisors. Perform various tasks and duties that may often change as the work conditions require. Work within defined standards of accuracy. Work in various weather conditions, including temperatures over 85 and below 40 degrees. Perform all other duties as assigned. Require d Skills or Abilities : Valid Driver's License Clean MVR Good communication skills Ability to work overtime, as requested. Education and Experience: On-the-job training offered. Physical Requirements: Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects. Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Ability to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to see and hear well (naturally or with correction.)
