Equipment Maintenance Technician 3Rd Shift

The Maintenance Trades Specialist ensures the proper operation of mechanical equipment and machinery by performing preventive maintenance tasks on production machines, engines, motors, conveyor systems, and pneumatic tools. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical Drawings and BoM, manufacturer's instructions, operations manuals, and engineering specifications. The candidate must also be able to troubleshoot malfunctions, identify sources of mechanical problems by observing devices in action, using measuring and testing instruments, and dismantling parts using hand and power tools, hoists, and cranes.
The Maintenance Trades Specialist Is Also Responsible For

• Assisting with downtime control
• Fabricating repair parts
• Reminder of Qualifications (listed on bid sheet):
• Advising production workers on preventive maintenance techniques
• Documenting and communicating actions, Irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations
• Having a working knowledge of mechanical drawings
• Maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventories
• Monitoring compliance

• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as floor controlled or overhead cranes, prime movers, work savers, and fork lift trucks
• Must be willing to work overtime, rotating schedules, holidays, and shifts
• At least three (3) years of related maintenance mechanical experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered
• A valid driver's license is required
