The Environmental Analyst will report financial and environmental metrics related to dnata USA emissions, water, waste etc. as dnata moves towards dnata’s Global sustainability goals. Engaging and influencing important partners/stakeholders across the dnata USA network to ensure data is tracked and reported. Must be adept at influencing and building internal and external relationships, motivating, and inspiring teams, and communicating effectively throughout all levels of our organization. Position will report to Finance with a dotted line into the HSET organization.


  • Analytical skills – with a proficient ability to read/write queries to analyze data
  • Develop partnerships across the segment to ensure data entry and validation
  • Support internal audits to assess the performance against the environmental and sustainability policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict, and collaborate to resolve problems.
  • Work with internal departments to set targets and improve their performance, as required.
  • Coordinate the introduction of environmental and sustainability policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to convey data and analysis to all organizational levels across dnata USA / Global Stakeholders
  • Analyze audit and other results, and highlight trends to identify risks and enable informed and effective decision making.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Provide expert data-driven decision-making support
  • Produce regular environmental and sustainability reports for all stakeholders.
  • Research and monitor changes to relevant environmental policy and legislation to inform and advise organization for proactive change management
  • Commitment to proposing improvements on strategies, policies, procedures, and systems, and managing change successfully with a positive impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and the entire Office 365 Suite
  • Provide regular environmental and sustainability training to colleagues.
  • Identify opportunities and technologies that may support emissions reductions and waste reductions, including biofuels, renewable energy, etc.
  • Create metric dashboards to analyze visual representations of goals
  • 3- 5 years’ experience in specific environmental analysis and actions.
  • Support dnata USA’s environmental reporting related to emissions, water, and waste
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Respond to customer questionnaires and requests.
  • Experience in PowerBi or similar data visualization software
  • Understanding of customer needs, and the ability to meet internal and external expectations.
  • Background in producing and presenting reports.
  • Stay current on sustainability reporting policy and frameworks – which may be outlined in new disclosure trends to support global/regulatory reporting
  • Evolve and measure program and initiative effectiveness
  • Partner with global teams to improve data accuracy and integrity; gather and combine data to inform program management; and develop recommendations for improving performance
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Sustainability field highly preferred.
  • Report on progress to targets and provide regular ad-hoc analysis
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and delivering organizational results with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues and teams to achieve desired outcomes.
