STATUS: Full time LOCATION: Remote within the United States

WHO SHOULD APPLY? SafeMeasures ® is a web-based data-reporting system for social service case management that offers real-time analyses and reports. We are currently seeking one or two entry-level support analysts to troubleshoot SafeMeasures database code. The person(s) in this role will help improve client reporting and document the database logic producing reports. This individual will receive training from various departments that support SafeMeasures with an emphasis on executing programming tasks of quality assurance (QA) and production tickets and recognizing when to escalate issues. The national average annual salary for this position ranges from $48,000 to 50,000; compensation may differ from this range depending on where an employee lives. Work with your team to identify needed improvements to client reporting and document the database logic producing reports. Create clear and concise work orders. Collaboratively troubleshoot client issues, find solutions, and add features to client reporting. Assist with data transfer development for updating scripts and testing data imports. Program new client policy requirements and updates in SQL.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED? We are committed to expanding diversity, cultural and lived experience, and expertise on our team. Qualifications include the following. Exposure to database languages such as PL/SQL, T-SQL, R, or another programming language. Strong written and comprehension skills (must be able to interpret technical requests and appropriately describe work completed). General understanding of tools and standards for documentation. General knowledge of or familiarity with basic concepts of formal logic, coding, or data management. Commitment to equity, social justice, and personal and professional development in these areas. Comfort working with people of different backgrounds and cultural identities. Additional assets include the following. BA/BS in social science, math, computer science or other data-focused science preferred. General grasp of Agile workflow process preferred. Knowledge of or familiarity with basic concepts of social sciences/social systems (social work, social welfare, juvenile justice, criminal justice, etc.) preferred.
