Entry-Level & Mid-Level Staff Accountants

Don't work 80+ hour work week and get paid for only 40 hours. Here you get paid for EVERY hour worked!! Busy season is ONLY 55 hour work week.

Our mid-sized CPA firm located in Dunwoody, Ga. is looking to hire Entry-Level Staff Accountants who possess a Bachelor of Accounting and/or Master of Accountancy (preferred). Our firm offers much better work/life balance than large firms. Staff Accountants mainly focus on learning how to produce the basic client deliverables of the firm during their first year.

Some of the basic concepts and duties at this level include

·Record transactions in journals, classify postings, total and cross- total entries for a period

·Reconcile bank accounts and trace discrepancies

·Reconcile subsidiary accounts and controls

·Learning the following:

o Simple reviews and compilations

o Tax/ Bond Planning

o Fixed Asset Calculations

o Job Costing schedules

o Draft financial statement

o Tax returns

Individuals must also possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to work in public accounting.

Pay & Benefits:

Salary - $60,000 - $70,000 plus, dependent upon education/experience and get paid for EVERY hour worked

$2,500 bonus for passing CPA exam
