Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an entry level Aerospace Tool & Die Maker for a position in Greenville, SC. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Layout, planning the sequence of operations, fabrication, assembly or repair, and related manufacturing research/development of various, types and size of jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, and master tooling made from various material.

This position will support the F-16 production line on First shift.

Physical requirements include: lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods of time.

Must be open and willing to be trained on machining, laser tracking, and general tool making.

Must be willing to work weekends.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years minimum experience fabricating tools and detail parts.

  • Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience using optical and/or laser tracker is a plus.

  • Experience setting up and operating Machine Tools Highly Desired.

  • Experience with Laser Tracker techniques (Leica or Faro)

  • Experience with Spatial Analyzer Software (S/A) Preferred.

  • Experience with Aircraft Production Tooling Preferred.

  • Willing to be trained and/or certified in special skills.

  • Ability to identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown or engineering documentation.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
