About the Role
Reporting to our Director of Sales, the Field Sales Representative will be responsible for executing Consumrz’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Illinois, acquiring new small and midsize businesses (SMB), providing timely market feedback to sales management, and being part of a high-performing sales team.
You will need to develop a deep understanding of our product, articulate the product's value to SMBs, and be able to engage business owners credibly. This is an opportunity to be part of a startup with a unique value proposition and that is scaling globally.
What we’re looking for
● For you to be part of a new business development team responsible for Illinois
● Execute the GTM strategy and acquire new SMBs in assigned territory
● Provide regular market feedback to sales management to drive consistent improvement/innovation
● Develop a deep understanding of your target market and its requirements
● Have a solid grasp of our product and its value to SMBs and consumers
● Set each business up for success by understanding their needs and expectations
What you need to be successful
● A self-starter, a hunter, and a strong drive for success
● Able to network, consult and build relationships through rapport-building
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Good technical skills
● Follow up on all inbound calls and emails promptly
● Maintain sales records using Consumrz CRM system
● Hit activity goals
● Be a team player and coachable
● Reliable transportation to sales appointments
● 1+ years of sales experience preferred, but not required (if you are a go-getter, we’ll invest in your career development)
Earning Potential
● $60k - $100k/year
● Guaranteed base, plus commission
