Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are looking to kick-start their career as a QA Automation Engineer. As a fresher, you will receive training and guidance to develop your skills in automated testing and quality assurance. You will work closely with experienced QA professionals and cross-functional teams to contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality software applications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Learn and understand software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
  2. Collaborate with the QA team to identify test scenarios and develop test cases.
  3. Assist in the execution of manual testing efforts, including test case creation and execution.
  4. Learn and gain proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
  5. Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
  6. Execute and monitor automated test suites to identify and report defects and performance issues.
  7. Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  8. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure test coverage, test efficiency, and overall test quality.
  9. Participate in code and design reviews to learn and adhere to automation best practices.
  10. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to QA automation.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or pursuing the final year of studies).
  2. Basic understanding of software development concepts and programming languages.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  5. Passion for software testing and quality assurance.
  6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  7. Any additional training or certification in software testing or automation is a plus.
