Job Description
:
Predictive Analytics Organization Unit builds products in the Quantitative Credit Risk Assessment space, helps Financial Institutions like Banks, Insurance and Asset Management companies make better decisions. You will be part of the development team working on building our Flagship EDFX product providing credit risk measures on over 400 million public and private global companies. You will be building responsive web applications, high performance API platform backed by huge volume of structured and unstructured data. You will have opportunity to work in an agile environment working on latest serverless technologies and solving business challenges.
Our products provide critical credit risk measures to our customers and it is of utmost importance to deliver quality data and defect free platforms. We are seeking a SDET with strong experience in Test Automation and Performance testing who will support designing, developing and maintaining the Test automation and performance testing suites and Frameworks. The candidate will enforce coding standards, best practices, and provide technical support. Advocate, design and implement CI/CD pipeline in cloud using containers concept.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement improvements, which may require ingenuity and creativity, within quality assurance program and operational systems with measurable quality indicators of the product.
  • Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of various factors.
  • Providing technical expertise, e.g. proper use of test techniques in appropriate cases
  • Analyze product requirements and ensure the testing is aligned with a risk-based test approach, mitigating risk exposure within all phases of testing.
  • Advocate for quality, be the voice of the internal/external customer. Ensuring the teams (Scrum Teams) implement and follow best practices to prevent defects.
  • Development of automation/performance solutions that meet organization standards and implementation of reliable, reusable and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses.
  • Build and maintain status reports to highlight the state of releases, testing projects, impacts/concerns, etc.
Qualifications :
  • Experience of testing in CI, DevOps, rolling deployment/upgrade model using well known frameworks is desirable
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS/Azure and experience of testing micro-services, containers, dockers.
  • Bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience in monitoring, profiling and tuning tools e.g. CA Wily Introscope, AppDynamics etc.
  • Experience of distributed source control systems such as Git
  • Demonstrate ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • 3-8 years of experience in software testing and test automation, with solid, demonstrable understanding of software development and testing practices.
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to coordinate with technical/non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in performance testing tools like HP LoadRunner/Performance Center/Neoload, JMeter.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing automated testing solutions for enterprise applications across the application layers (UI/Service/Data layers) and working with developers in building automation/performance friendly code/components
  • Experience of BDD/TDD practices and automation/performance in Agile methodology is highly desirable
  • Experience in identifying performance/load/stress testing needs, using testing tools and analysis of metrics
  • Experience with debugging tools like: Dev Tools, Network Sniffer, Fiddler etc.
  • Proficiency in programming using Python/C#/Java or other languages
  • Experience of working with SOAP and REST service and understanding of SOA architecture
  • Expertise in developing test cases, creating and analyzing Defect Reports and root-cause analysis

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
