We are currently seeking a Hardware Support Technician to join our team in Rockville, MD, USA.
The Jr. Hardware Support Technician Level I will provide technical support for an extremely diverse biomedical research institute consisting of over 4,000 users in a Windows/Macintosh/Linux environment. This is a challenging job with state-of-the-art equipment. We are looking for people with the desire to experience a diverse fast paced environment. The candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to work with demanding users.
Essential Duties:
- Respond to incident and request tickets in a timely fashion and document all activity related to a ticket.
- Mobile device setup and configuration.
- Hardware and software installations both local and remote.
- Various computer peripheral delivery and setup.
- Device imaging of Windows and Macintosh baseline workstation environments.
Required Skills:
- 6 months to 2 years exp. supporting a small/medium size fast paced environment.
- 6 months to 2 years exp. with Macintosh operating systems
- 6 months to 2 years exp. with Windows
- 6 months to 2 years exp. with Network and re-imaging workstations
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to walk for long distances.

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who works in Colorado is $93,000 - $130, 200. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on a number of factors, including work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications. The candidate may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
