Our investment banking client is looking for a qualified individual to fill an open Facilities Coordinator position. This is an entry-level role for someone who is looking to break into the finance industry looking to learn new technologies and have an introduction to data.
Type: Six-month rolling contract position
Pay: $30-35 an hour
Location: Hybrid work model. We are looking for someone to come into the Manhattan office three days a week with two days working remotely.

Our client's Facilities Team provides corporate services ranging from furnishing, general office equipment, and housekeeping to building maintenance. The Project Management teams provide standards, advice, and implementation support on facilities capital improvement projects such as interior renovations, branch relocations, renovations, and moves and support tech upgrades.
The Facilities Coordinator (Projects) will work closely with Project Management and Facilities team to support the day-to-day activities in NYC and related satellite locations. The Facilities Coordinator will provide administrative/logistical support to the Project Manager and team, help coordinate project operations and maintenance of project records, interface with vendors, contractors and employees, assist with project implementation under the direction of the project manager as needed and assist in managing employee moves, while supporting the firm’s strategy, goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for managing and assisting individuals entering the building
· Ensure facilities are safe, secure, and functional
· Develop and implement facility support systems designed for ease of use.
· Lead communications for facility management, support issues, and updates.
· Lead projects related to facilities and facilities support group
· Create identification badges for new employees and visitors
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. For example, majored in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, etc.
· 0-1 years of experience in a related field
· Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Quick learner who is highly motivated and a proactive self-starter
· Ability to work cohesively on a team, as well as independently
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
· Not necessary, but nice to have: familiar with tools such as Splunk, SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar
