Job Summary

A leading manufacturer is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager in Grants Pass, Oregon. This position will be responsible for manufacturing engineering activities and the maintenance department. A bachelor's degree in Engineering - BSME, BSEE, BSIE, or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in manufacturing improvements for building materials, assembly, tooling, process improvements, and/or packaging. Paid relocation included.

• Candidates must possess at least 5 years of engineering management experience
• Background in capital expenditure projects/budgets, LEAN, Six Sigma, TPS and process flow improvement and layout experience

Responsibilities

• Develops a staff skilled in tooling, manufacturing engineering, methods and processes, cost estimating, maintenance supervision and quality control
• Establishes objectives, schedules and priorities, in Manufacturing Engineering activities and reviews staff based on their accomplishments
• Assists manufacturing operations in solving technical tooling, quality, process and maintenance problems affecting the daily operations of manufacturing problems
