Summary Of Role
This is a rotational position based in the CEO Strategy group. This team collaborates closely with the CEO and other C-suite leaders to drive high impact, cross-functional programs which enable our long-term, sustainable, profitable growth. It is a group designed to develop future executives through direct exposure to business critical activities.

This is a Staff Bus Unit Bus Operations position in the CEO Strategy group at GlobalFoundries, responsible for defining and driving GF’s long-term strategic objectives through enhancement and execution of various processes within the business (including but not limited to revenue generation, technology development, cost and productivity optimization, investment analysis and decision-making).
The candidate will support strategic projects, helping define and implement KPI-based metrics to determine project efficiency and effectiveness and follow through to ensure execution. Demonstrated hands-on expertise in financial modeling and all aspects of project definition, prioritization, and execution. In order to be successful, the candidate will regularly support cross-functional teams and senior management (including CXOs) to define business processes and solutions for program and resource management, gain stakeholder alignment and execute.
Essential Responsibilities Include
  • Develop clear and logical arguments for or against specific business opportunities
  • Help establish project management and prioritization processes, attend regular meetings for escalating and resolving resource conflicts
  • Provide support in establishing processes and methodologies for managing projects and project portfolios, including set-up and day-to day activities
  • Gather information from different data sources and build solid financial models to support business decisions (e.g. investment cases, M&A transactions)
  • Provide support in reporting, progress control and definition of mitigating actions as required of strategic and transformation initiatives.
  • Work together with a cross-organizational team to establish common KPIs to measure project management performance and health and to report to senior management
Other Responsibilities
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
  • Project management skills – planning & driving execution/implementation
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in professional environments, such as top consulting firms, investment banks, or corporate finance functions while working in close collaboration with the CEO and top corporate executives
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Self-driven personality with exceptional analytical skills, structured work style and ability to understand complex matters quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s in Business Administration
  • Financial modeling skills including ability to connect operational metrics with financial results
  • Experience influencing & managing change
Expected Salary Range
$89,000.00 - $169,000.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
