Empowerment Academy at Brady North offers students an alternative environment aimed at helping students find success in school. Empowerment is located inside Arvada High School, but is a separate alternative program for 11th and 12th grade students who are behind on credits and struggle to be academically successful in a traditional school environment. This program will provide students with a community approach to learning, while earning credits more quickly than they would be able to in a traditional school environment.

The ideal candidate for this job has high expectations for students, is dedicated, passionate, energetic, flexible, and has a growth mindset. Brady teachers adapt instruction to meet students' needs, be it project based, blended, or online learning. Our goal is to prepare students for their future, not our past. Candidates should be dual certified in math and science and able to teach both subjects. Teachers will teach both a math and a science class to students in an alternative school environment.

**Annual salary noted above is based on an 8 hour day and full days worked calendar. Any position that is less than a full FTE/8 hours per day or late start will be prorated accordingly.
