Emergency Room Nurse Jobs

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic healthcare team. With multiple openings available, this is an exceptional opportunity to provide critical care to patients in our Emergency Department (ED). As an ED RN, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, developing care plans, and implementing and evaluating patient care. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes and provide exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient progression towards desired outcomes and document the effectiveness of interventions
• Perform regular patient assessments and reassessments to monitor physical condition and emotional/social needs
• Provide health education to patients and their families, documenting teaching interventions
• Verify, document, and administer medications accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to formulate individualized care plans with expected outcomes
• Assess injury causation and promptly report neglect or abuse to the appropriate agency for intervention
• Conduct triage assessments for medical and traumatic emergencies, ensuring rapid data collection

Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
• Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License (Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire if Compact License)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Relocation bonus of up to $3,500 available
• Competitive compensation: Salary range from $31.60 - $47.40 per hour, based on years of experience
