Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our healthcare team in Kapaau, HI. The ER Nurse will be responsible for providing prompt and quality care to patients who require immediate attention due to illnesses or injuries. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in emergency situations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assess patients' conditions promptly and accurately
• Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies and crisis situations
• Monitor and document patients' progress in electronic health records
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families about their diagnoses and treatment plans

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ER setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Current Hawaii RN license
