Responsibilities and Duties:

• Evaluate and triage patients based on their condition, severity of illness, and medical history
• Document patients' medical histories, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in emergency nursing and participate in professional development activities
• Administer medications, including intravenous therapy and blood products, as ordered by the physician
• Perform necessary diagnostic tests, interpret results, and communicate findings to medical staff
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and guidelines for infection control, safety, and ethical nursing practices
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment plans
• Assist in emergency surgical procedures and stabilize patients during life-threatening emergencies
• Monitor and assess vital signs, recognizing and communicating changes to the appropriate medical staff

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse (ICU)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred; Associate's degree nursing program accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical software applications
