Email Marketing Specialist

Five Below is one of the fastest growing national retailers with a growing store footprint and strong momentum in the online space. This growth is driven by an unmatched value proposition and a marketing program communicating this value proposition to its customer base. Five Below is hiring for a data driven and skilled Email Marketing Specialist to help scale the day to day execution of the CRM and Email marketing program. This role will be part of the Digital Marketing team and will report to the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager - CRM.

Job Responsibilities:

· Own the day to day execution of Five Below’s CRM program across Email, Push and SMS channels

· Build and schedule email campaigns, using HTML and deploying them in our ESP (Blueshift)

· Update weekly email marketing results tracking all major email KPIs, garner any insights and learnings from A/B tests, segmentation, etc., and help build shareable reports .

· Assist in building email lists and segments used for targeted and triggered emails .

· Assist in building dynamic recommendation blocks for marketing & automated emails .

· Work with Brand Marketing team to align on a promotional email calendar that incorporates key stories, messages and assortment .

· Lead QA activities for campaigns prior to deployment

· Monitor our email deliverability and reputation, and address issues as necessary

· Work with creative team on refining creative templates to be used across campaigns

Qualifications:

· 2-3 years of email marketing experience. Experience working in retail industry preferred .

· Deep experience writing and editing email HTML to code emails and ensure proper rendering across different devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) and ISPs (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) .

· Strong data and reporting skills and knowledge of key email marketing metrics and KPIs .

· Expertise with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, particularly using COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, SUMIF, and SUMIFS statements to summarize large datasets and produce reports

· Ability to build segments in an ESP using user attributes, engagement activity with site and email, and constructing using and/or & nested functionality

· Strong knowledge of the nuances of email deliverability and maintaining of health of email list and managing growth of email lists

· Excited about the world of email and CRM marketing, keeping an eye on what other brands in the space are doing to lead the way or change the game
The pay range for this position is $40-$60 hourly. Pay may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; educational background; and geographic location.
