Job Description

Position: Elevate EHR Provider Trainer

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 6-months Contract to Hire

Location: 100% Remote


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic associate-level EHR Provider Trainer to join our dynamic team and grow within our organization. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the successful onboarding and training of physicians and medical assistants on our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. As a associate-level trainer, you will work closely with the senior trainers and the training manager to deliver comprehensive training sessions, focusing on current workflows and best practices. Your exceptional communication and technical skills will be instrumental in empowering our healthcare providers to leverage the EHR system effectively, improve patient care, and optimize clinical processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Stay Current with EHR Updates: Stay informed about the latest EHR system updates and enhancements, ensuring that all training materials and sessions are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct hands-on training sessions to educate users on the EHR system's features, tools, and functionalities relevant to their specific roles.
  • Workflow Education: Instruct trainees on how to navigate the EHR system effectively to streamline current clinical workflows, ensuring seamless integration into their daily tasks.
  • Monitor Trainee Progress: Track and evaluate trainees' progress throughout the training process, identifying areas for improvement and providing additional support when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from trainees and team members to improve training methodologies and make ongoing enhancements to the training program.
  • Provide Technical Support: Address trainees' questions and concerns related to the EHR system during training sessions, offering technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Coordinate with the EHR implementation team, IT department, and training colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding and training experience for new providers and medical assistants.
  • Conduct Onboarding Sessions: Facilitate engaging and informative onboarding sessions for new physicians and medical assistants, introducing them to the EHR system and its core functionalities.
  • Customize Training Materials: Collaborate with the training team to customize training materials, presentations, and resources to meet the specific needs of different provider groups and specialties.
  • Support Training Documentation: Assist in creating and updating training manuals, user guides, and training documentation to ensure they reflect the most recent system updates and enhancements.


Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of clinical workflows and medical terminology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in using EHR software and related tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Previous experience working with an EHR system in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • A passion for providing high-quality training and support to healthcare professionals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, health informatics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent presentation and training facilitation skills.
