Job Description


A local school district near Marshville, NC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. As a school-based RN, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care and ensuring the well-being of students grades K-5th during the upcoming school year. Responsibilities


  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation.
  • Manage and provide first aid for injuries and illnesses that occur on campus.
  • Assess and address the healthcare needs of students within the school setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders and school policies.


Qualifications


  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.


Contract Details


  • Hourly Pay Range: $35-$42
  • Contract Duration: Upcoming School Year
  • Weekly Hours: 32.5-37.5
