Job Description
Summary You will serve as a Electronics Technician in the Logistics and Maintenance Integration (L&MI) Division, Mission Operations and Integration (MO&I) Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will provide technical expertise in the design of calibration procedures and test techniques. You will perform certified calibrations of metrology standards. You will identify parts and material support requirements to accomplish required system repairs or modernization. You will analyze calibration data and repair system failures to minimize downtime and maximize system availability. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Preparing technical proposals and developing milestones to ensure technical accomplishments in the assigned program area; 2) Designing test setups and experiments to measure and develop criteria to prove/disprove the feasibility of the designs; 3) Developing and improving current Test and Monitoring systems (TAMS) utilized in testing Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) equipment; 4) Reviewing and evaluating equipment for long-term supportability and suitability to utilize in fleet calibration labs; and 5) Assisting others to ensure the effectiveness, technical adequacy and suitability of their work.
