Job Description
Summary About the Position: You will serve as an Electronics Technician specializing in electronic and electrical systems and components for the Operations Division. Responsibilities Tune, align, calibrate, fabricate, modify, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and test a variety of electronic and electrical systems. Install, repair, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and overhaul, a variety of complex electronic equipment, and systems, to include data systems consisting of data switches, multiplexer, modems, and dedicated circuits. Ensure equipment and system compliance with current cybersecurity requirements and maintains close liaison with Information Technology professionals to coordinate support. Program DCPs and checks status from remote sites. Work as part of a team including field and district personnel to assure timely repair of gage discrepancies. Maintains files including all paperwork and maintenance logs. Improvise, design, fabricate and install new circuitry by adapting and revising established procedures using innovative methods.
