Electronics Technician I Jobs

This position is responsible for troubleshooting and the repair of various electronic devices' hardware, software and peripheral components. Loads and verifies correct operation of software packages including operating systems. Provides depot technical support to internal and 3rd party Organizations.

KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize and troubleshoot issues
• Demonstrated skills in operating equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, in technology or computer technology
• 1 year of experience in technical support or a technical repair environment required All education must be verified and accredited by the Department of Education

• Ability to read and understand operative manuals and work instructions. Physical and/or Mental Demands:
• Must exhibit promptness and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a self-directed work environment

• Ability to perform the spill clean-up function as required
• Contributes to a safe working environment
• Ability to complete all basic and re-currency regulatory training as required
