A Marine Electrical + Electronics Technician will have the ability to:

• Setup up an efficient work area in the field to perform quality service on boats in remote locations.
• Install, configure, operate and troubleshoot electronic and equipment.
• Become certified in industry specific Marine Electronics including Raymarine, Garmin, Simrad, B&G, KVH, & Intellian. American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) Certifications including Electrical, Corrosion, and Marine Systems.
• Follow work space safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Work from equipment manuals, network drawings, schematics and verbal instructions.
• Properly submit work orders, parts ordering forms and warranty registration information.
• Follow company policies and procedures in order to maintain a high level of efficiency and professionalism.
• Provide onboard diagnostic evaluations, implement equipment software updates and train customers in proper operation of their Marine Electronics.
• Work with various hand an power tools to professionally install or replace equipment
• Accurately maintain a schedule and demonstrate proper time keeping methods.
