Fox Valley Metrology is the commercial leader in Full-Service Calibration. We provide ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration support of precision measurement and test equipment to a diverse manufacturing base including but not limited to Defense, Aerospace, Medical, Semiconductor, and Fortune 500 manufacturing organizations.
In addition to performing calibration in several technical disciplines (Electrical, Physical/Dimensional, Force, Torque, and Pressure) all calibration data and records are processed and maintained internally utilizing our proprietary Supreme Metrology software in conjunction with our web-based gage management software.
We are looking for a talented PMEL-trained Electronic Calibration Technician. This is considered a traveling position with work being done in the local area and surrounding states. This long-term position is anticipated to begin immediately.
Electronic Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities Include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word as well as Fluke MetCal and the ability to quickly adapt to other custom software platforms used in day-to-day calibration activities.
- Perform depot-level calibration, adjustments, and verification of Precision Test and Measurement Equipment, TMDE to include but not limited to low-level AC/DC to RF.
- Achieve above-average customer satisfaction with a timely turn-around of customer equipment and service.
- Accurately and efficiently prepare the necessary documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skill sets:
- Self-Starter that works well alone and in small groups
- 3-5 Years of relevant calibration experience is required with formal PMEL training preferred.
- Enjoys the freedom of limited oversight.
- Strong understanding of Metrology concepts
- Sound critical thinking skills, a strong customer service focus, and excellent communication skills.
