Position Summary: Is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and testing various electronic equipment and systems. Equipment may include a variety of audio, video and digital equipment such as digital video recorders, cameras, monitors, radios, and amplifiers. Position will consist of traveling to customer locations to install and train personnel on various mobile audio/video and surveillance equipment. Position will also provide direct phone support to customers and assist in remote troubleshooting.

As An Electronic Engineering Technician, You Will

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and updates electronic equipment;
• Provides on-site installation for customers and trains personnel on various mobile audio/visual, surveillance, and communications equipment;
• Documents and logs all work performed and tests all repairs to a documented standard.

As An Electronic Engineering Technician, You Must Have

• Ability to read and follow schematics
• Mechanically inclined and be proficient with power and hand tools
• Knowledge of digital theory and circuits
• PC skills and be proficient with standard test equipment including digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes
• Good solder skills
• Strong customer support, verbal, and written communication skills
• Basic networking skills, understanding of TCP/IP, wireless experience preferred
• Detail oriented with good problem solving and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates in Electronic Engineering highly preferred
• Previous experience with equipment installations in a mobile environment desired
