Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER in North Alabama .. The ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER is responsible for electronic and mechanical assembly of a variety of electronic hardware including: electrical chassis, cables and electromechanical assembly efforts. This position will work on a variety of products to include both military and commercial customers. Candidate must maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
Responsibilities Of a ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER Includes

• IPC-620and J-STD-001 certification for electronic assemblies and/or cable assemblies is a plus
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Candidate must be able to read and understand DOD assembly and engineering drawings required to perform the build of complex electro-mechanical assemblies
• Use assembly hand tools as required, to include: crimp tools, arbor presses, torque wrenches, rivet and insertion tools and others as needed

• Experience in maintaining and operating production equipment is a plus
• Must have basic experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics and other manufacturing documentation
• Must be able to build finished assemblies within defined time standards and with high level of quality
• Have a High School Diploma
• Must be a resident or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area
• Must be able to build finished assemblies within defined time standards and with high level of quality
• Must be able to determine methods and procedures to accomplish the assigned tasks utilizing the drawing and tooling provided for the required assembly
• Must be able to operate a fork lift
• Experience in testing electromechanical assemblies is a plus
