Job Description

Duties

As a Electrician with the Division of Facilities, Operations and Maintenance, you will:

  • Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Use and maintain various types of hand and/or power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, cable pullers, hydraulic benders, and pipe threading machines.
  • Perform electrician functions including installing, repairing or replacing, modifying, loading, and testing new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers, and controls.
  • Troubleshoot problem areas and inspects for defective equipment and faulty wiring.
