Job Description
Candidate Source has an immediate opening for Electrical Test Technicians in Henrico, VA. This candidate will be responsible for testing power distribution equipment, ensuring quality workmanship and reliability while creating a safe workplace.
Job Duties
  • Apply hand tools to ensure correct torque
  • Read blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
  • Test performance of power distribution equipment and assemblies
  • Inspect parts for surface defect
  • Use multimeters, current meters, oscilloscopes and other equipment testing measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments
Skills Needed
  • Ability to read schematics and drawings
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools
  • 2-4 years of practice experience testing low and medium voltage distribution systems or 2-year technical degree in related field preferred
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and travel as needed.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Ability to read/write English, excellent communication skills and use mathematics
