Electrical Technician

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for an Electrical Technician at our Air Products Membranes Solutions facility in St. Louis, Missouri.
(6pm - 6am) 12-hour rotating shift (36 / 48-hour work weeks)
$66K-$81K annually, $29-$34.60 per hour (includes shift premium).
Responsibilities:

• Complete required safety tasks and activities
• Troubleshoot PLC's and control systems.
• Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment
• Assist other maintenance technicians with assigned tasks
• Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders
• Install and maintain a variety of electrical equipment
• Develop procedures for preventive maintenance tasks

Qualifications:

• Ability and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely manner
• Five years of industrial experience working on electrical equipment, and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Strong mechanical skills
• Proficient communication and computer skills
• Applicable military training will be considered equivalent to industrial experience
• Accredited military or trade-school diploma or certificate is required
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments
• Follow safe work practices, NEC guidelines, and standard operating procedures
• Able to work in a team environment
