JOB OVERVIEW:

The Project Manager has full responsibility for assigned electrical projects and will be responsible for project team building, cost control, forecasting and scheduling multiple projects through final project completion. The Project Manager will be the Client’s point of contact and will coordinate the job team to meet all project goals.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communication – Coordinate with the field employees to monitor, manage and improve communication.
  • Coordination & Supervision – Plan, schedule and implement daily manpower, inventory and job specific needs.
  • Production – Monitor and manage field production and implement paths to improvement. Quality vs. Quantity.
  • Field Employee Training & Planning – Educate on NEC compliance & installation efficiencies, pull pre-job material.
  • Best Practices – Follow processes & policies in support of Company goals. Monitor field adherence to current processes and policies.
  • Sales, Marketing & Customer Service – Selling and marketing the Piper Electric brand. Evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Financial – Utilize financial data to manage project estimate and improve profitability. Purchase, regulate and control material inventory.
  • Strategic Input – Liaison between field employees & Operations Manager. Develop strategic plans for field operational activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highrise multi-family residential experience.
  • RW / Journeyman / Master License
  • Knowledge of current NEC codes, construction project management, basic construction accounting practices, as well as principles and best practices of construction.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

  • 45+ hours per week.
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screening, Background and Driving Record check required.
  • Material delivery may require driving personal vehicle. Mileage and gas will be reimbursed.
