As an Electrical Power Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of electrical power projects, from conception to completion. You’ll work in various sectors, including energy, utilities, data centers, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may impact project progress.
  • Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Conduct regular meetings to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, engineering teams and manufacturing, to define project requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Budget and Cost Control:
  • Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Evaluate project variations or change requests, assess their impact on budget and schedule, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to cost estimates.
Project Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, specifications, progress reports, meeting minutes, and technical records.
  • Prepare project reports, highlighting key milestones, budget status, and any deviations from the original plan.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for client communication, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and participate in client meetings or presentations.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical power systems, equipment, and industry standards.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in electrical power projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Pay Range Data
$102,000 - $158,000 per year. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level.
