• Job Summary:\ *Coordinates with the Apprenticeship Manager to lead the training activities for several sections of Electrical Apprenticeship courses. This position will help to develop new certifications based on Electrical specialties, test preparation courses, Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and other areas of program expansion. This position will help NIC meet the Journeyman testing requirements of the Idaho Division of Building Safety (DBS). This position will ensure excellence in teaching and learning by providing high quality and relevant practical and theory instruction in Electrical Apprenticeship and related Continuing Education. This position will follow and comply with state and national credentialing standards in preparing students for the Journeyman examination. Serves as key team member to the Apprenticeship Manager in ensuring quality instruction, curriculum development and classroom operations.

Minimum Qualifications\ Education and Experience: Active Journeyman Electrical license in the State of Idaho required and minimum of three years full-time related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to attain Quality Matters (APPQMR) certificate within six months of hire required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\ Demonstrated knowledge of laws governing trades in Idaho and bordering states\ Ability to conduct effective training and presentations\ Strong verbal and written communication skills\ Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications\ Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier
