JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Provide problem-solving support and electrical guidance for printed circuit board manufacturing processes, and teach others to do the same.
- Assist in the design, troubleshooting and calibration of product testing equipment.
- Utilize Quality Management System tools, apply continuous improvement methodologies (6 Sigma, Lean), and work with others in a team environment.
- Conduct various Root Cause Analysis and Improvement activities throughout the Cleveland operations, and teach other QA personnel troubleshooting and auditing techniques.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies (6Sigma, Lean), and an understanding of manufacturing processes and methods.
- Ability to apply a combination of a knowledge of quality assurance tools, business procedures, part and process measurement techniques, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to a variety of problems.
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Ability to organize, lead, and drive continuous improvement projects
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Printed Circuit board manufacturing processes, including Surface Mount (SMT) and power electronics.
- Knowledge of electrical test methodologies, including data capture, analysis and calibration of test equipment.
- Experience with troubleshooting electronics and electrical equipment.
