Electrical Designer Jobs

Immediate need for an Electrical Designer in the Greater Philadelphia Area who will be responsible for conducting field surveys, leading estimation for projects and producing designs using MicroStation. This position offers excellent compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and hybrid flexibility.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Designing both overhead and underground electric distribution facilities using CAD software.
• Responsible for going out into the field to use survey instruments and field equipment to create Electrical Distribution Designs, property and as-built surveys, and construction & ROW Staking.
• Ability to perform distribution line design calculations.
• Recognizing electrical distribution framing and components 4kV through 34Kv to initiate designs for both overhead and underground distribution facilities.

Qualifications

• Possess strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• High School diploma or equivalent, associate degree or certificate in CAD Technology is preferred.
• Drafting or Design experience for Electric Utility or Telecommunications projects
